How it All Began
In 1983 the Madison Herb Society sponsored the first Herb Fair at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in order to educate the public about herbs and raise money to further the activities of the organization. The Annual Herb Fair continues its tradition of offering members of the Society and the general public an opportunity to learn about the culture and use of herbs. Each year the addition of new events broaden the scope of learning experiences for all who attend. Enjoy a fun-filled, day-long fair with herb demonstrations, herbal food, and the sale of a wide variety of herb products from cookbooks to wreaths.
Please give back to the Herb Society by working on the day of the fair and bringing a donation to sell at the booth.
