MEETINGS, PRESENTATIONS, POTLUCKS, TRIPS

MHS_Bus_Trip
  • Presentations or activities after monthly business meetings cover extensive herbal related topics. Monthly meetings are typically held September through May at Olbrich Gardens.
  • Potlucks are held throughout the year to share herbal recipes, including organized gourmet dinners, holiday potlucks and a spring tea.
  • Education covers herbal topics such as cooking, growing, history, medicinal, craft and home uses. Ad hoc study groups allow for in-depth learning of select herbs throughout the year.
  • Volunteer opportunities include working with Olbrich’s herb garden and other public spaces, as well as events such as our annual Herb Fair and an exhibitor booth at the Garden Expo.
  • Summer activities often include an overnight adventure and a member’s garden tour.
  • Friendships and support of other like-minded individuals.
